Did not finish book. Stopped at 61%.

Honestly it’s just terrible. The smut is mid at best when you even get any and the rest of the book is about the two most unlikable characters you’ve ever met with one of the cringiest plot lines ever. I’m all for a smut book with a wild plot but this one is just terrible. I’ll think I’ve been listening for hours and it’s been twenty minutes. I almost wanted to complete it just to give it a 1/4 star rating but ultimately I’d rather get a yeast infection for six weeks than keep reading this book. TikTok lied to me about it being so hot. It’s literally so bland and even the smut that could be good is ruined by the characters having no chemistry or compatibility whatsoever. It’s just explained off as they have some weird tension but it’s not even well written tension. It’s awful. Save yourself from this mess. Also the worst pet name ever. Shortbread?? So stupid.
