Easy 5 stars for me, probably my favorite read of the year so far! The worldbuilding was in depth without being too complex to follow, every storyline had its purpose and came back around, and the writing was beautiful and descriptive without being overkill. The banter had me literally laughing out loud, and the slow burn had the PERFECT amount of edging to keep me invested. In true DLJ fashion, we ended with a TWIST, and my only regret is having to wait so long for book 2 now.
