Great idea plot for a story… But that’s it. 3/4 of the story is FMC (nurse)getting her tail beat down on the regular on page and then she turns into a killing bad ass that falls in love somehow. Gratuitous DV on page which comes in handy because Lord knows she can take a punch and get tortured like a champ. prison setting was interesting. MMC is whatever you want him to be in your mind because there’s not much development on the page. This was just OK… even if a bit of a letdown because the potential is there. The story is really interesting. Narrators nailed it with great performances.
