it's alright. this entire series would have been better in film because then you can see the character's faces and behavior during their sarcastic moments. as novels, it is hard to tell if a character means their sarcasm or not.

the writing style is honestly not my favorite and i felt my eyes glaze over at the ramblings/repetition of the quirky "humor." it's obviously meant to be endearing but i didnt view it as such. the whole "ana with one n" thing was so annoying i nearly put the book down there.

as a young queer person and probably the author's target audience, i appreciate that they tried to keep it open and tried to stereotype less. but i personally didn't like some characters due to how it was written.
