This is a great introductory science read—accessible and filled with fascinating facts. While I found some chapters stronger than others, I especially enjoyed learning about each animal. That said, a few of the added stories felt unnecessary and could have been replaced with more factual content. Overall, it is a great reminder of the importance of being intentional in how we care for our planet.
