P.S. I Loathe You by Isla Olsen

4.25

P. S. I Loathe You is a fun, light enemies to lovers romance between Wes and his ex- almost brother in law, Devon.

Wes is the outlier in his family. He's never really fit into their upper crust life, preferring his t-shirts and his tattoo parlor to their suits and clubs. His sister's fiancé Devon is everything he loathes. With fancy watches and every strand of hair always in place, he can't stand the man. Even though he's nursing some major lusty feelings for him.

Devon has always been a steady person who likes order. When his fiancée breaks up with him, he has a sudden moment of impulsivity which leads him down a road of more chaos and a tattooed, bad boy at the end of the line.

This was a really adorable, funny, opposites attract rom-com that I thoroughly enjoyed! It has one of my favourite tropes, the anonymous online communication, that is really underutilized in my opinion. This book does it really well and I love the way the relationship progressed from online friendship, to purely physical to so much more.

I also liked that it was pretty low-angst, with no major, unnecessary drama. The situation with the sister and their families was handled really well, and the focus remained primarily on our two MC's.

If you're looking for a light, low angst, swoony rom-com that will put a smile on your face, then this is the book for you!
