This was still a great book, as is the rest of the series, but this one seemed to drag and/or get bogged down sometimes. Felt like the cast of characters to keep up with had doubled. I listen to this series via Audible and RC Bray knocks it out of the park every time! I wanted some more in-depth tales of individuals that the prior books seemed to supply more readily. Maybe I just didn’t like all the stuff X had to deal with as king.
