The Magnolia Palace by Fiona Davis

Murder mystery, set in a NY mansion filled with precious works of fine art, that unravels through dual plot lines in separate time-lines, need I more? Oh yes, and there is a scavenger hunt filled with clues that lead to a long lost treasure! I really enjoyed this story's vivid amd respectful description of classical works of art, especially as an art history lover. However, it is a terribly, painfully slow building plot. When you finally get into the deep of "who done it?" You can't put it down. This one is for those who need buttoned up endings for the characters they grow to love.
