This is a pretty good Reacher book, one of the slower ‘mystery’ style stories (though nothing too cerebrally challenging) and we get to see a slightly different side of him, beaten and hopeless. At least, for a few pages. The conclusion goes big and we have a cliffhanger?! Kind of, it’s a little abrupt.

The narration is fine, I like his approach with Reacher but find his female voices annoying and the same each time.

Not many left now.
