A sorcerer and an elf who's very infatuated with him team up to save the world. Coalan's expressive and flirty nature is a direct contrast to the serious type-A and responsible David, but they fit very well. It's very insta-love from Caolan's side (explained by paired souls), and the way he woos David is sweet and adorably obsessive. The efforts he puts in meeting what David needs really shows his heart.

He shows David how to let loose and be more carefree, and David is also a badass that fiercely protects Caolan from the baddies he faced. Really enjoyed how David fell in love, and their romance is rather lovely. The gang dynamics are hilarious and a lot of fun as usual, and the conclusion to the overall arc is satisfactory even if it seemed little rushed.
