As they continue looking for the New Ruling Order, and Mac and his team are desperately looking for the antidote to the experimental isotope injected into Amy's two sons, Mac finds himself attracted to Amy. She has been through so much that he wonders if it could be possible for her to accept him into her life. Meanwhile, Mac and his team discover that the NRO has plans to use Faith Ansell's energy device as a bomb to "reset" the Earth by destroying most of human life. It is a race against time to find the bomb and to cure Amy's sons.
This is a good ending to the Red-Hot SEALs Series. Most of the story lines are tied up and the relationships are given satisfying endings. The emotional connection between Mac and Amy isn't developed as well as it could have been but it does resonate as the "right" ending for their stories. Overall, this was well-written and worth the read.
