This book was published in 1868 (over 150 yrs ago) and somewhat reminds me of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice. Alcott tends to get a bit moral with each chapter and likes to impart lessons to the reader, some which are timeless and others are a bit antiquated. I really enjoyed learning about the characters - they are all lovable and distinct in their own way. Overall, an enjoyable read.
