A bit slow moving in the beginning but I enjoyed getting the other cast of characters. Even if Andrea is written similarly to Kate (except a sharpshooter instaed of swordswoman) I still just liked it. The Black Volv is funny too I'm glad he was back. I read this after reading book 6 in the Kate Daniels series so I already knew the end results with Andrea and Raphael especially but it still was a fun read and a break from how heavy Kate is getting.
