Why Not Me? by Mindy Kaling
4.0
This was my first book on a kindle and I loved the experience!! Now for the review of the actual book...
As I mentioned in my review of Mindy's first book [b:Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me?|10335308|Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? (And Other Concerns)|Mindy Kaling|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1443264638s/10335308.jpg|15237902], I'm not necessarily a "fan" of Mindy Kaling. The only times I've watched The Office I hated it, I think I watched the first few episodes of The Mindy Project before I remembered I'm not one who likes comedy shows, and I don't know anything else she's associated with. That said, I absolutely love her books.

There's something in this book for everyone. There's anecdotes for the die-hard fans, love stories for the romantic, fictiony fun things for those who just want to be entertained, and an inside look at being a Hollywood boss for everyone in between.
This isn't the sort of thing I'd normally give more than 3.5 stars to, but it was just so funny (it takes a lot to make me laugh out loud), endearing, kind, and profound, I could never give it anything less. If you deserve a treat (and you do), pick this up. It's a great read from someone who could be your best friend.
