Zevins again writes a book where the characters seem unbelievably real. There’s not much to say about the plot of this story without giving away spoilers but will say this; this is a story about family and love and how those things can develop and change as we grow older. (It is also about books)

Zevins does an incredible job showing the lives of not only the main character but the “side” characters. How even though they are not the focus of this story it doesn’t diminish the fact that they live lives just as full as anyone else. Zevins shows how the life and death a single person can completely change a person world, while acknowledging that life moves on.

Just like Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow,  this book feels like a biography of people who never existed but I so wish they had.
