Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman

I don't know quite what to make of this book. The overall plot is signalled so not a surprise, and Eleanor is almost a caricature of an old maid / 50s throwback, but I liked the unfolding relation with Raymond, and with Sammy, and it was easy to read, so I didn't stop turning the pages.
