The Last Train to Key West
by Chanel Cleeton
It took me a long while to get into the story. I felt so much damsel in distress tones , it was not catching my attention. My best friend asked me to keep at it.
I am happy I did. Chanel Cleeton is a beautiful, descriptive story teller. I fell in love with Next Year in Havana.
Though it took me until chapter 19 to get into this book.
She brought to life a real life storm I knew nothing about.
The 3 main characters that annoyed me in the beginning became 3 sister friends that all freed each other without even knowing it.
I love how she weaved them together.
This book came at perfect timing for me.
