The Last Word

THE DOG IS OKAY! If I hadn't seen someone note that, I wouldn't have read this, so best to get that out of the way!
I loved the back and forth of reality versus the fictionalized account of what was happening. It was quite a fun way to read different perspectives! I've been back and forth with how I wanted to rate this and decided to go with my gut. I was rooting for Emma and crying with her during her struggles, and because I felt those things, I wanted to push the rating up.
For those who've read this: There is one loose end I'm unclear on. HG says he knew she was lying about the car accident. How could he have known? Where did that come up?
