Wowww I thought book 1 was angsty…hello!! This story frustrated me to no end but I could not stop reading. Honestly the story was kind of all over the place, but I do have a lot of love for these boys and I still had an enjoyable time reading. They are 2 characters that will stick with me for a long time!🫶🏼

It did get to a point where I was over 200 pages into the story and not really much had happened aside from angst between the guys—I really feel like their story could have been wrapped up nicely in book 1 if it was just extended by 50-100 pages and we took out all the unnecessary angst from this one🫢

I severely disliked Roman in this. I actually read his story—these vile secrets—quite a while ago and enjoyed it, but if I’d read this duet beforehand I’m not sure I would have read his book any time soon🫢

I am excited to read the ‘rivain’ novella, it will be nice to see these boys actually happy💌
