The Reckoning at Gossamer Pond by Jaime Jo Wright
5.0
Aaaand, Jaime Jo Wright did it again! Not that I didn't expect she would or anything because, let's all face it, she's an amazing writer and I think all of her books will be amazing. What I didn't expect, though, was for me to enjoy this story more than The House on Foster Hill. I didn't think it was possible, but she proved me wrong.
So, what made this story so appealing? All of it. The history and the mystery and the dark pasts and the death and grace all mingled together made this story what it is - a masterpiece. It was a picture of real and raw humanity that didn't shy away from the hard things in life, and yet it still overflowed with grace upon grace.
In short, this story was fantastic and I am not walking away unchanged.
