One of my favs of this series!

Joarr is so much fun and I really enjoyed being outside while still being at orc mountain. Gwyn also has a good strong mind of her own which I appreciate. I liked meeting more of the other women, and having Stella's story expanded on.

I feel like Joarr suddenly not being Skai was fairly confusing because we just ended the previous book with him as Skai. It was still cool to see his development of his relationship to his clan. Idk if he needed to be a Seer though.

Finley Fenn's writing has improved so much and this book is one of my favourites of hers.

A major critique I have is the I trust him, I don't trust him, I want to fuck let's fuck, I never want to see him ever again, rinse and repeat plot that we've seen in her previous books in this series can get really repetitive. It's a bit like emotional whiplash. Finley brings the angst though so it'd be out of character to have a woman come willingly to orc mountain with the explicit intent of establishing a relationship.

Gwyn does say he lied to her but tbh I can't work out how he did? Like orcs are a different culture and none of these books have women who respect or understand that which annoys me. So that's why it lost half a star.  Also thankful she doesn't run away from him omg so much running in the previous books!!!!.
the spice was brilliant too!
