Holy shit! Okay first off this book was scarier than it had ANY right to be! But, I’ll get back to that. I just want to say if you’re from the Midwest or Illinois suburbs specifically this book has all the things I grew up knowing! From Chicago, FIBs, “ope”, spotted cow beer (only available in Wisconsin), and like every other midwestern stereotype that’s based on facts! This aspect DREW me in. Also, thank you for mentioning the White Sox and not just the Cubs (sorry to all you cubbie fans I’m south side born and raised!). Now for the horror, to me there’s not a lot more scary than a child with an imaginary friend, drawing creepy pictures, and saying creepy one liners, I had to turn Disney on last night just so I could go to sleep! I LOVED this book! Thank you Katie for recommending it! So, I’m the end I absolutely recommend this one especially this time of year!!!!
