Very entertaining read and The Red Series has yet to disappoint me! Mrs. Pearl was a total menace & it was evident she was not wrapped too tight from early on, but her diabolical ways showed more and more as the story unfolded. I was definitely rooting for Trey throughout this book although he annoyed me at times, by not always using his common sense. I enjoyed seeing a young black man being “ahead of the game” and farther in life than most his age, at the age of 24. The highlight of how much his mom sacrificed for him, was a great addition to the story. It wouldn’t be a Tanisha book if it didn’t have a twist, and it definitely had a couple of jaw-dropping & shocking moments to occur. Overall, a great read that I would highly recommend.
