I have been impatiently waiting for this book for so long it is almost surreal to finally have it in my hands. I adore this series so much and I had such high expectations for this book. It met each and every one of them plus some! Chronologically, this book picks up immediately after the events of Love Spring Eternal and it is a ride from page one to the end.

This installment has felt more like a slice of life story than previous books and I am here for it! Things are starting to unfold slowly for the final battle and this book focuses on Angel and Simeon and their found family preparing to take on the High Council.

I don't want to say a lot because I don't want to spoil the events of this book for anyone but some of the things you can look forward to in this book are:
  • Some answers FINALLY about a specific Salvatore ancestor!
  • Awesome Eroch shenanigans! (Eroch and Cian's friendship may be one of my favorite things!)
  • -Some more Angel Salvatore badassery!
  • Sidhe mound explorations. (I am intrigued with it all over again and cannot wait to discover more about it in Cian's book!)
  • Angel's found family is growing!
  • And there are zombies!

I am getting sad that this series is nearing the end but I am so excited to get Cian's book next! I am beyond intrigued with the introduction of his love interest and I need his book ASAP!
