Meet Me in Paradise by Libby Hubscher
5.0
This book reminded me how truly meaningful words on paper can be. I loved this book from front to back and probably will never stop recommending it to people.
I would say it was more romance fiction not fully like a rom com I was expecting. Although this was the perfect beach, it was very emotional and had me tearing up regularly.
I was so obsessed with Marin and her character. She was super cautious after the death of her mother, she takes on the guardian role for her wild younger sister, Sadie. However, Sadie gets bad news and realizes she needs to give Marin a life well lived… and it goes from there.
Marin is such a relatable character and her growth and reaction to grief is so refreshing. It’s not the version that does everything exciting and brave after loss. There was the rich guy trope, forced proximity (on an island) trope and more! Such an amazing read and truly enjoyable from every page.
