Loved it! Emily Rath is easily one of my favorite authors as I’ve thoroughly enjoyed everything I’ve read that she’s written. Madeline, Warren, and Charles were such a compelling trio, and their dynamics were uniquely theirs. And while Madeline and Warren’s arch was a little insta-lovey, the characters are acknowledge it which I definitely appreciated. The spicy was definitely spicy (4🌶️ bc of primal and degradation kink content) but the plot was so well developed that the spice *added* to story development. Nearly a 5 star read but I needed a little more Warren character development (could have been done in the first two books, like how Charles was introduced) and I would have liked to have seen Charles’ fear around disappointing his uncle been clearer from the beginning, since it felt like for most of the book the only reason he wasn’t with Warren was because Charles thought it was a sin, not that he didn’t want to disappoint Selby
