The Silvered Serpents
by Roshani Chokshi
Erin from As The Book Ends (@asthebookends on Instagram) gave me and my sister, Chiara (@_ckarys on Instagram. Together we form the author duo C.M. Karys), the opportunity to read an eARC of The Silvered Serpents as a guest reviewers on her blog, and of course we said yes. I will leave a link here for you to check out our full lenght review.
As The Book Ends - Silvered Serpents – Roshani Chokshi (C.M. Karys GUEST REVIEW)
This is the sequel of [b:The Gilded Wolves|39863498|The Gilded Wolves (The Gilded Wolves, #1)|Roshani Chokshi|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1525714353l/39863498._SY75_.jpg|53547018], which I recently read and loved, so naturally this was a newly highly unticipated read. The book takes off more or less where we left off in the previous instalment. I’m not going to go into too much detail, but if you’ve read book one, you’ll know the characters aren’t in the best of places emotionally. What I loved about The Silvered Serpents is that the stakes were higher than ever. Conflict ruled the narrative, both within the characters and their relationships. The character development was brilliant and the ending was even more brutal and shocking than that of The Guilded Wolves. Book three couldn’t come fast enough. Roshani Chokshi officially won her place on my favorite author altar.
