I went into this book, not knowing it was part of a series, and not reading any of the previous titles. But honestly it didn't really matter, I mean I'm sure there's back stories between all the characters that have been sorted in previous books, but I felt I could tag along and not feel left out. This book is kind of everywhere, it has hackers, police, bail bondsman, and few other characters that I assume are high up in the food chain when it comes to resources, man power, etc. in crime fighting! The relationships in this one are odd, a couple that rarely see each other; a grandmother that seems to know everything about every one and is always feeding people; old friends inviting themselves in and sleeping in your bed; random cape wearing 'cousin' that show up in the middle of the night. Looking back this book had so much going on, but it kept me entertained and laughing at times, one character in particular when her 'moons are out of line' cracked me up! So if a fast paced hacker, bail bondsman, police chases, cars blowing up, and knitting (randomly), then ya give this a go!
