Oh my god did this book hit close to home. It made me feel so many different emotions, some right after the other it felt like whiplash lol
So many parts of this book hit really close to home, and at times it was quite triggering but it taught me a few lessons and reinforced a lot of decisions i have made in my life.
Also this is the second CoHo book ive read and I have loved both of them

this book does a great job of making you fall in love with ryle, and trying to find excuses for him too, just like lily. the ending made me cry, the fact that she breaks the cycle with emerson just made me so happy for them and it really made me appreciate my mother who has been through similar things and got the courage to leave
