I can’t with this series. The boys are horrible people...even by bully romance standards. Why am I supposed to like any of them when they all treat her like trash. Victor is a legitimate psychopath yet I’m supposed to believe that because he didn’t kill Bernie, he must love her? Don’t even get me started on the lack of birth control taking place. This girl is swallowing plan B like they’re tic-tacs. And it’s not like there aren’t condoms around, it’s because victor is actively trying to get her pregnant so that she’s trapped with them. In the first book the boys attack Bernies ex boyfriend for pretty good reasons but we later find out that they carved into his forehead and cut off his testicles. What?!?! Later, she mentions something about it to one of the boys and calls them a gang, to which the kid has the nerve to look offended and say he’s always just thought they were a family.
