I knew there would be some domestic abuse but I didn’t realize how much. It is really graphic and throughout the book so heads up if anyone needs the warning
The main reason I rated low is because how much I personally hate reading about domestic abuse so it doesn't necessarily mean it isn’t a good book, I just did not enjoy it for the most part. I liked seeing the characters learn new things and how to adjust and survive and even with so many bad and scary things happening, the descriptions still make me want to visit Alaska.
