one of my top new favorite memoirs. it's perfectly written & narrated via audio. it also made me realize how much it's so common for me to zone out during the parts of memoirs when actors talk about their careers solely because I'm more interested in their lives before hollywood. i love the discussions about choosing yourself and always being enough. it almost brought me to tears. viola davis is extremely admirable & has a phenomenal voice.
