Friends Without Benefits
by Penny Reid
Oh, oh, oh did I love Nico. What a sweet angel on earth. I really liked this book, and felt it was a little better executed than the first in the series. It wasn't trying as hard, maybe? Elizabeth did feel like a completely different character, now that I think about it. I liked how she (and Janie, in the first novel), always opt for honesty and talking things over in-the-moment, rather than the usual occurrence in novels of waiting and waiting and witholding. There was something else about her that won't spring to mind - grr...will update later if it comes to me.
