This is an adorable little book featuring an anthropomorphised cat family travelling through Japan, from the aquarium to key cultural locations, and everywhere in between. The illustrations are full of adorable kitten-cats, all big eyes and stubby limbs, and while they may be posed in "human" poses, they remain very much CATS.
While this is a great book for fans of JUNO or catlovers in general, this would be an excellent book for children visiting Japan for the first time. There are English translations of any Japanese text written on the page, allowing the reader to get an understanding of items they may see throughout their trip, as well as foods, key locations and much more.
I was unfamiliar with Mofusand/JUNO before picking this up, but I'll be looking further into these adorable little kitties. The artwork is beautiful.
