Blood Like Magic by Liselle Sambury

5.0

This was great, it had a lot of focus on character development and family. There was a huge emphasis on internal battles and decision making, and the main character, Voya was someone who’s thought process I related to a lot.

The plot was impressive, Liselle Sambury wove an intricate web and I can not wait for the sequel!

I loved the casual representation involved in this, it was written in a way where people of intersecting identities just live and aren’t used in stereotypical or cliche ways.

Overall, an amazing YA urban fantasy book!
