Second Comes War by Lilith Vincent
5.0

Second Comes War picks up where First Comes Blood left off.  Chiara had decided to kill her father, but at the last minute she couldn’t do it and was shot by Salvatore (or so we are led to believe.

You get the truth of what happened in the first couple of chapters.  It was all staged by Salvatore, Cassius, Lorenzo & Vinicius as they suspected she wouldn’t do it.

There is still a huge plot, and loads of romance in this book, but it focuses more on character development.  Each of the guys slowly start opening up to Chiara as each of them eventually gives the stories of their sister’s murders and what Lorenzo ended up doing so he could try and get as much information as he could about the Black Orchard Killer.  While reading everything that is going on you tend to forget that in this book Charia is only 18.

I have strong suspicions about who the killer is but not sure if I’m right as they seem too obvious, but evidence seems to point their way.

I have already downloaded on KU book 3 Third Comes Vengeance.
