Took a while for much to happen. At least 5-10 chapters, but eventually it picked up, then slowed, then picked up again towards the end.

Overall, I did enjoy the book. The main character is not a smart one, completely ignoring repeated warnings only to go off and do the exact thing she was warned against! And what do you know? There were consequences to not listening!! Shocker!

The lore was the best part. I could’ve done without the random romance that was so very obviously going to happen - “kidnapped” and then falling for your captor trope much?

Anyway, it was a good read once things actually started happening and I enjoyed the lore. Will continue to read the series. Hoping Feyre gets smarter
