I wanted more from this story. I liked the rep but I struggled with Preeti. She was a doormat for nearly the whole book. I sympathize with the pressure that must come from trying to satisfy very traditional Indian parents but
she was almost ready to get married to some dude she had no feelings for just to please them
. I also didn’t like how she treated Daniel as someone saving her from her problems.
