This was a really fun cute adventurous ya romance. I loved that the two MCs were neurodiverse and that the POV’s alternated through the book.
Tilly was a whirlwind, especially at the beginning I found her “voice” chaotic and hard to follow. Almost off putting until I warmed up to her and got used to her personality. Oliver was a little easier to read and connect with but I think that’s bc his personality is more similar to my husband and son’s. Whereas Tilly is more like me and maybe that’s why I had such a visceral reaction to reading her chaotic start to her trip.
The story was cute and I liked the evolution of Tilly as the trip went on. I loved how Oliver helped her just by understanding and being similar.
I was not enjoying the mom but that was redeemed in the end.
