Okay, so… we’re now going through what I’d compare to ACOTAR Book 1.
I’m hoping—wishing—this is just the groundwork we needed in order to fully understand the rest of the series.
I get that this is the basement of the entire story. It needs to be detailed and carefully explained so we can truly understand our main character 🥲
But damn… that was so hard to get through 🫠
Things you should know (things I wish I’d known, to be honest 😅) before starting this series: this book contains explicit content and darker elements, including mature language, violence, and non-consensual sex.
But by all means, don’t think the book is bad—it’s just probably not what you’re expecting…
