It started out slow but the second half of the book it really picked up. It is not my favourite Greek mythology adaptation but it was an interesting take and I did enjoy it. Sometimes the twists felt out of no where but it was still good. The progression of the relationship seemed a bit strange pacing wise but it was not to the point of feeling ridiculous just rushed which does make sense given the premise. There was a lot of development for the main character and some of the other characters while others I think were under-utilized but maybe that will be fixed in the subsequent books.
