2.5
2.5 stars. I read this to get out of a reading slump, and it did it's job, so my review won't be long or overly critical.
My least favorite thing about the book: For Ryder having such a traumatic incident happen in his life, especially since he is actively dealing with the repercussions of it during the novel, it doesn't quite get enough attention or perspective. (Purely my opinion - duh!)
My favorite thing about the book: We finally get an FMC in a hockey romance that is also a fucking hockey player! I've been waiting so long for this. Fucking finally! (To be fair, I probably need to read more hockey romances because I'm sure this is far from the first book with Hockey!FMC, but here we are.)
