“What do you want from me?” Everything. The answer to that question used to be everything. Now, I just wanted him not to hate me.

This was such a sweet, quick and lighthearted read! I loved Indya, from the beginning itself, I could tell that she was a good person and everyone around her just misunderstood her. But still, I was on West's side because he technically had to lose his family's legacy. I could sympathize with him but I did not hate Indya, she was right in her place to takeover the resort because it obviously needed some serious redevelopment. I liked the chemistry between Indya & West but somewhere I just couldn't connect much with them tbh and I felt like the story lacked angst. If only the tension between West & Indya was built up more, I would've loved the book. But overall, it was still enjoyable and I couldn't put it down until I finished it. So it was a 3.75 star read at it's best for me.
