Conversations on Love by Natasha Lunn

emotional hopeful sad slow-paced

3.0

I listened to the audiobook which I didn’t think did the book justice. The format seemed like it had gone from a conversation, to being transcribed for the book, back to a conversation as a re-recording  for the audiobook and it just felt a bit robotic. The parts where it was interview style came across really unnatural and forced. Made to sound like a natural conversation that clearly wasn’t.

The overall writing of the book was beautiful. Very sad. Not for me at this time and I’d warn others to check the triggers. I’m not someone who feels I need to check for trigger warnings but chapters of this book felt extremely depressing to me.
