Jeremy Volkov isnโ€™t the man you want attention from. Mafia Prince. Violent. Relentless. He wonโ€™t stop until he gets what he wants.
Cecily Knight is the glue of her friendship group. Problem solver. Caretaker. So-called prude. But no one knows what sheโ€™s hiding. Sheโ€™s spent years protecting others from her trauma while quietly falling apart.

This book had me laughing one minute and anxious the next. Jeremy is unhinged in the most dangerous yet magnetic way and absolutely possessive to a fault. And Cecily pushes back, constantly testing him, even when it terrifies her.

He was raised in violence, trained to inherit an empire, and has already inherited his fathers trust issues. But when it comes to Cecily he would burn the world down to protect her. He saw in her what no one else did, helped heal parts of her she tried to bury. Of course, he had to add a little bit of โœจRussian roulette traumaโœจ along the way.

Final thoughts: kicking my feet and questioning my sanity.
