This was tedious. I’m so disappointed in this book as I loved reading His and Hers last year. First off, this book has little to no thrill or suspense. His and Hers actually creeped me out, listening to the audiobook and there was so much suspense for the reveal. This was just a bland story that did not add up. I could not figure it out at all, although the twist was okay, the whole story was a waste of time and boring. The first half occurs over a day, and it’s just these characters dumping all their problems and basically hatred of each other, not fun or interesting in any way. Then you have the third perspective littered throughout which draws it together but I could not see how it fit until it was revealed. The characters are horrible, completely horrible. Robin is pathetic, her life goes the way it goes because of Adam and all is forgiven in the end? She just wants him back? That’s the big lead up? Then Adam, that twist at the end, him behind the car just doesn’t add up. That’s his big secret but why go against it for so long? Then he says he doesn’t know the girls name who he’s been hooking up with and stealing cars with? Give me a break. When Robin reveals this he has the audacity to be mad and blame Amelia although it was his fault? Why was Amelia keeping tabs on him anyways? So they kill Amelia, leave her there, Robin moves back in and no one asks questions? Come on. That’s so unbelievable and doesn’t wrap anything up. I just honestly didn’t get this.
