Wow. A stunning book from start to finish. Brutal, captivating, horrifying, and exciting. I couldn’t put it down. It had everything I love in a fantasy story—flawed and interesting characters that grow and change, original and fascinating worldbuilding, intrigue and action, and a satisfying ending that makes sense for everyone. I enjoyed every moment of this book and was especially riveted for the whole second half.
