I loved this installment.

When I first heard that the second Wayfarers book follows different characters, I was a bit disappointed and apprehensive. It's always a bold move when an author does that, as you have to go back through the getting to know them stage.

What Becky Chambers does well, is that these two new characters were introduced in a small way during the first book, and they feature strongly in the ending, so they aren't completely unfamiliar.

Plus we are only really following those two, who are living in close proximity, but with a past timeline for one also interwoven, showing parallels to their lives. This makes it easier to connect with them as there are less main and side characters to keep track of than in Long Way.

I really liked the close up experience of Sidra and her character growth, I also found Blue's background fascinating.

A highly enjoyable read, I've already got the next two books in the series to continue binging through!
