This would be like a 2.5 I think. I don’t want to give it a full 3. I’m honestly so upset with this book. Skylar felt unbelievably childish. She was supposed to be 26 and acted like a 20 year old. I understand the point and having her grow as a character, but it was tough to get through. The book was also so repetitive, which made it hard to read. I’m really upset because I loved the chant spring series but honestly this book did not do it for me. Also I feel like it was cheesy boring ending. I know romance books are supposed to be cheesy but this was too much.
On the bright side… the kids were absolutely adorable and great characters. I enjoyed ford being ford and being over bearing, but it almost felt like a little too much. Like he’s not your boyfriend or brother… he’s just a random guy to you.
Also it pissed me off how much west babied Skylar. Like at some point she needed to grow up and be an adult, but all I could see was a 20 year old.
Overall I don’t suggest. This was not worth the read and I’m really upset about it.
