The Barking Ghost by R.L. Stine
3.0

Cooper and his family have just moved into a new house, secluded in the woods. When he hears dogs barking at night no one, but his new friend Fergie, believe him. It’s up to them to prove they exist and that the house is haunted. This was a lot of fun to read. It had the reader on the edge of their seat the entire time. There was no way anyone could predict what was going to happen next. The pacing was really good this time around and just when you thought you knew where this was going to end, nope. Stine pulled another one of his classic great endings to spook the reader.
